In fact, the SDP’s mags may be identical to CZ’s compact 75-series magazines (e.g. for the P-01) but I don’t have one handy to test at this time. If you can afford one, and want a really accurate 9mm gun with a fantastic trigger, get a CZ75 SP01 Shadow Target. It costs in the mid priced 1911 range but it shoots better than all of them, including some really high-priced 1911s. They change out springs, hammer, sear and tune it by hand.
If you want a range gun, get the SP-01. If you want a gun for defense, get the G17. The G17 has a proven track record with Police and Military as a reliable defense/offense weapon. The CZ SP-01 is more accurate out of the box, but the trigger is bad; it is worse than the G17. Just because the glock my go some 100k to 200k rounds on the same gun and the m&p has been proven to go beyond the 50k mark doesnt mean that a gun like the CZ that goes 30k+(the requirement and achieved goal of the P-01 before it could become a Nato handgun) is a bad gun.
