Re regarding the location of the oil pressure sensor, I appreciate that my PVC has a different engine (2.8 JTD), but on examining the underside recently for another matter, I noticed a sensor attached where the turbo oil feed pipe connects to the cylinder block. Checking Fiat documentation has confirmed that it is the oil pressure sensor.
Its the 8140.43 engine and the kit i purchased from ebay was listed as for the 2.8D 200 onwards 230,244 chassis. Belt was 30mm with 152 teeth and came with white markers on the belt to line up with the crank and cam timing marks so was easy enough. Kit also included tensioner pully and idler pully and was £45.00.

Aug 26, 2013. #2. the 2.8d or the 2.8td gearbox are the same, although there are 7 different type of gearbox in each cc, the 1.9, 2.5, 2.8 etc, the jtd clutch type is different as well one is pull type (Jtd) and one is push type (IDTD), petrol and diesel are different gearing as well, so you cant use a p [etrol on a diesel. Once the engine has restarted, it will then run fine again for a while, until again it cuts out. This is a common fault, and classic symptoms of a faulty crank shaft sensor or RPM sensor as it is sometimes known. A new crank/RPM sensor will set you back about £30-40 from Fiat, or around £20 from somewhere like Shop4parts.co.uk.

I need to change the Clutch Master Cylinder (Pump) on my Fiat Ducato as it is leaking fluid, can the clutch fluid be drained and replaced without affecting the brake fluid /hydraulics.
