Light controls make the Citroen Grand C4 SpaceTourer easy to manoeuvre at low speeds and rear parking sensors are standard so you don’t have to worry about damaging the distant rear end. Meanwhile, mid-range Feel Plus models get a rearwards facing camera, while top-of-the-range Flair Plus cars can reverse park themselves – turning the

Firstly - Handbrake Faulty, then. Secondly - ESP /ASR System Fault and in both cases the corresponding visual graphics. Also on the application of handbrake switch, it will not auto release when car moves forward, I have to off the ignition and it will then release when car moves forward. Also switching off ignition does not auto apply handbrake.

Release parking brake in neutral drive off normally and lights go out after a while but driving me mad now. 2010 C4 Picasso VTR+ EGS 47,000 miles new battery fitted after first breakdown to make sure wasn't causing problems. Any ideas gratefully accepted.

Hi I had a simalair problem were by the car on several random occassions would say handbrake failure. and every now and again actually removed the handbrake without been prompted ( i.e. trying to set off or pulling the handbrake switch) took it to dealer and they diagnosed the problem to be the fuse box and replaced it under warranty. touch wood since then it has never done it.
Yes, it's a typical failure, but a 2008 is nearly 8 years old, 2 years past the 6 year limit, so no chance of any kind of liability claim. I get the impression that electromechanical parking brakes are now improving, but yours, the original C-Max's and the 2005-2011 Passats were known to be trouble. £1,000 is normal for replacement parking brake motors both sides.
